"It was in the summer of 2005 when a few young dancers and myself decided to draw attention to the ailing dance arts. Our plan was to take this art form, which in Hungary is often poorly communicated, to the streets. The aim of our project, besides the free and creative use of public spaces, was to reach a potential new audience. The initiative has remained independent all throughout, while it kept incorporating many new ideas and angles. We had the opportunity to test people's reactions and situations in several cities and in different set-ups. Among other places we've been to Budapest, Kecskemét, Pécs, Győr, Szentendre and Brussels. The current action was preceded by a long and conscious experiment with new tools and a fresh approach. What's next? More streets, more people, more opportunities."
